Philanthropy

From the time of our founding, Alpha Delta Pi has believed in the importance of giving back to our community. A dedication to philanthropy guides our members to spend time in the service of those who need it most. Our international organization’s commitment to Ronald McDonald House Charities has led to the donation of over $15,000,000 over the course of our partnership. More than 350 Ronald McDonald Houses in 64 countries help keep families with seriously ill or injured children together when they need it most by offering them a comfortable, temporary residence in proximity to a medical facility.

Zeta Upsilon is very involved with helping our local Ronald McDonald House in Detroit, but we also love helping other organizations when we can. Alpha Delta Pi Zeta Upsilon has participated in helping run the March of Dimes, the #LiveYourOath campaign, the Max Gruver Foundation, and any philanthropy our sisters have a passion for. While RMHC is our main philanthropy, we are always the ladies to step up and support those who need our help. Our Philanthropy chair, Riley Miller, helps us have opportunity to reach out in our community to try to build up others as much as we can.

This past year alone we have raised over $8,000 at our most recent ADPi First Annual Golf Outing. Not only this, but we are still in the works of planning our annual 5K Fun Run in the Fall, AND we have raised hundreds in on campus bake sales, ribbon sales, and Pie-a-Pis. We fight hard to help the organizations that we love, and we will not stop.
